Global energy services provider Expro has taken a decisive step into the offshore industry with the introduction of its BRUTE packer system<\/strong>, designed for high-pressure applications in extreme environments. This system responds to the growing demand for more robust and adaptable tools for deepwater well operations.<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

BRUTE system passes critical tests in offshore wells<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The 12.25″ 12,850 psid BRUTE Armor system was successfully deployed in April 2025 in the Gulf of America, validating its pressure integrity and performance in critical scenarios. This achievement was part of a 20,000 cubic meter project led by a Tier 1 energy company. <\/p>\n\n

Following this line, Expro also launched a 20″\/22″ packer system, aimed at overcoming common limitations in high-pressure subsea wellheads. Thanks to twice the element expansion capacity compared to traditional mechanical solutions, this tool facilitates casing testing and isolation<\/a><\/strong> and isolation tasks with greater efficiency. <\/p>\n\n

Modular and flexible combination<\/h2>\n\n

The BRUTE packer can be integrated with the BRUTE 2 storm valve, offering the best qualified combination of packer and valve for critical services. This modular architecture allows adapting to different well configurations without compromising safety and uptime. <\/p>\n\n
