Construction of the <strong>NEOM plant<\/strong> complex is currently <strong>80% complete<\/strong>, covering both the installation of the energy infrastructure and the integration of key equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NEOM project boosts green hydrogen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In detail, the project contemplates a generation network of 4 GW by means of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/ren-reports-that-renewable-energy-production-reaches-historic-highs-in-portugal\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/ren-y-la-produccion-de-energia-renovable\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">solar and wind energy<\/a><\/strong> to be operational by mid-2026. The aim is to produce up to 600 tons per day of carbon-free hydrogen in the form of green ammonia, a solution intended for global export, industrial and transportation sectors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For its part, Air Products leads as prime contractor and will be the sole purchaser of the green hydrogen generated at the mega-plant. In addition to the renewable generation facilities, the progress includes the arrival and assembly of wind turbines and<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/rwe-installs-its-first-turbine-at-the-sofia-wind-farm\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/rwe-instalacion-de-turbinas-eolicas-sofia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hydrogen storage<\/a><\/strong>, in addition to the renewable generation facilities, progress includes the arrival and assembly of wind turbines, hydrogen storage vessels, electrolyzers, cold boxes and piping structures that will support the infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, <strong>the first ammonia product<\/strong> is expected to <strong>be available in 2027<\/strong>, consolidating <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.airproducts.com\/energy-transition\/neom-green-hydrogen-complex?utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=GlobalLinkedIn&amp;utm_campaign=APBusiness%2CNGHC%2CNEOM%2CVideo%2Cmegaprojects\"
