Global airlift provider CHC Helicopter<\/strong> has been selected by Equinor <\/strong>to provide support services on its Mariner<\/strong> and Rosebank<\/strong> fields<\/strong>, located in the North Sea. This agreement has a three-year duration, strengthening the strategic collaboration between the two companies in one of Europe’s most challenging offshore locations. <\/p>\n\n

CHC Helicopter’s support for operations in the North Sea<\/h2>\n\n

As part of the contract, CHC <\/em>will deploy dedicated S-92 helicopters<\/strong> to the Rosebank field<\/strong>, while the H175 model<\/strong> will cover operations at the Mariner field<\/strong>. Both aircraft will operate from CHC’s logistics base in Aberdeen, UK, ensuring personnel mobility to the deepwater platforms. <\/p>\n\n

The Rosebank energy project<\/em> is located about 130 kilometers northwest of the Shetland Islands, and is one of the most relevant offshore developments in the growth phase. The Mariner project<\/em>, meanwhile, has been in production since 2019 and is Equinor’s first development<\/strong> in the UK sector of the North Sea. <\/p>\n\n

This contract strengthens the consolidated relationship between CHC Helicopter<\/em> and Equinor<\/em>, extended in markets such as Brazil and Norway. With expertise in crew transport, emergency response and offshore logistics services, CHC is established as an important partner in maintaining Equinor’s operational efficiency and safety in the region. <\/p>\n\n

This new agreement underlines CHC’s role in the European energy ecosystem, where air logistics is essential for the continuity of offshore operations. Based in Aberdeen, the assigned aircraft will provide transport services to crews<\/strong> in demanding weather conditions, meeting the safety standards required in the oil and gas industry. <\/p>\n\n

The company Equinor manages the Peregrino field<\/a><\/strong> field in Brazil with support from CHC, thus reinforcing its strategy of collaborating with high-performance suppliers to boost security of energy supply in Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n\n
