A system that allows continuous magnetic <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/novatron-fusion-group-advances-taueb-project-in-plasma-confinement\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/novatron-fusion-y-el-confinamiento-de-plasma\/\">continuous magnetic confinement of the plasma<\/a><\/strong>which is essential for constant power generation. <\/p>\n\n<p>This development is inspired by the legacy of the <strong>Large Helical Device<\/strong><em>(LHD<\/em>) at the <strong>National Institute of Fusion Science in Japan<\/strong>, the team has moved decades of experimental data to an applied engineering stage.<\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>Helix Program<\/strong> includes two complementary devices. On the one hand, <em>Helix HARUKA<\/em> acts as a system validation platform. On the other hand, <em>Helix KANATA<\/em> is projected as a full-scale pilot plant, designed to operate 24\/7 generating net positive energy.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The funding received has been backed by a broad group of investors, including <strong>SBI Investment<\/strong>, <strong>NISSAY Capital,<\/strong> <strong>Toyoda Gosei<\/strong> and <strong>Daiwa House Ventures<\/strong>. These funds will enable the rapid development of technologies such as superconducting <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/next-generation-magnets-power-large-hadron-collider-upgrade\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"214850\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">superconducting magnets<\/a><\/strong> and liquid metal blankets, key components for reactor stability and maintenance. <\/p>\n\n<p><em>Helical Fusion<\/em> is consolidating partnerships with Japanese technology companies in areas such as <strong>cryogenics<\/strong>, <strong>ultra-high vacuum<\/strong> and<strong>materials engineering<\/strong>. These collaborations seek to improve the transition from a working prototype to a scalable commercial reactor. <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p id=\"viewer-0eu1d48564\">Fusion development is accelerating worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-0eu1d48564\">However, among all available methods, our stellarator approach is based on decades of research conducted at the best universities and national institutes in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-0eu1d48564\">When considering what can realistically be achieved with today&#8217;s technology, we are confident that we are the right ones.
