This offshore wind farm support vessel (CSOV) is the third of its kind built by VARD for the Norwegian company <strong>Rem Offshore<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Progress on the construction of the NB 983 vessel<\/h2>\n\n<p>The new vessel is based on the <strong>VARD 4 19 design<\/strong>, a platform developed specifically for operations in the demanding offshore renewable energy environment. This sister vessel to <strong>REM Wind<\/strong>, delivered in April 2024, will offer high maneuverability and energy efficiency, reinforcing Rem Offshore&#8217;s strategy of operational sustainability. <\/p>\n\n<p>The ceremony was attended by representatives of the classification society and Rem Offshore&#8217;s technical team. Kristian Stavset, the shipping company&#8217;s project manager, was in charge of initiating the cutting process, emphasizing the company&#8217;s commitment to innovation and efficiency in the maritime industry. <\/p>\n\n<p>This project consolidates the alliance between <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/rem-offshore-advances-in-the-construction-of-the-innovative-rem-pioneer-vessel\/\">Rem Offshore<\/a><\/strong> and the <strong>VARD<\/strong> group, part of <strong>Fincantieri<\/strong>, and reflects the growing demand for naval solutions adapted to the growth of the offshore sector.
