ALI Technologies&#8217; flying bike reaches 100 km\/h"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By: Franyi Sarmiento, Inspenet, December 8, 2021<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ALI Technologies, a Tokyo-based Japanese start-up, unveiled its Xturismo flying bike, the \u201choverbike\u201d, as the company describes it, weighs 300kg and can travel at speeds of up to 100km per hour for 40 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the presentation, held on a race track, the driver started the motorcycle, which is 3.7 meters long and has 6 propellers, rising several meters and flying around the place controlling the rotation with its conventional engine and its four electric motors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flying bike is also priced sky-high, costing 77.7 million yen ($682,000) and will produce 200 vehicles per year, with the support of investors Kyocera and Mitsui Sumimoto Insurance Venture Capital.
