These elements seek to strengthen the plant as a strategic node in the supply of low-carbon energy. <\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>integration of<\/strong> <strong>carbon<\/strong> <strong>capture<\/strong>, <strong>transport <\/strong>and <strong>storage<\/strong> <strong>systems<\/strong> will allow <strong>Coastal Bend LNG<\/strong> to offer a final product with lower emissions, adjusting to the growing global demand for cleaner energy measures. In addition, the implementation of these systems will help the company access tax incentives such as 45Q credits in the United States. <\/p>\n\n<p>According to Nick Flores, CEO of <em>Coastal Bend LNG<\/em>, the company is expected to file its preliminary permit application with the Federal <em>Energy<\/em> Regulatory Commission ( <em>FEC<\/em>). <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/duke-energy-extends-operation-of-its-oconee-nuclear-plant-through-mid-century\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"243473\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Federal Energy Regulatory Commission<\/a><\/strong><em>(FERC<\/em>) during 2025.
