Clarkson Port Services<\/strong> has closed two strategic agreements with RWE Offshore Wind<\/strong> that will sustain the operations and maintenance activities of the Nordseecluster, the largest offshore wind complex under development off the German coast.<\/p>\n\n

Logistical support for the Nordseecluster offshore wind farm<\/h2>\n\n

As part of the agreement, Clarkson Port Services<\/em> will build an approximately 1,700 m\u00b2 logistics warehouse at Beatrixhaven, within the port of Eemshaven. port of Eemshaven<\/a><\/strong>. Work will begin this summer and is scheduled for completion in spring 2026. RWE <\/em>has signed a long-term lease to use the space, which will include office annexes and facilitate the operational management of the wind cluster<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The companies have contracted logistics and port services<\/strong> for a decade. This collaboration will enable Clarkson <\/strong>to provide technical and infrastructure support throughout the life cycle of the Nordseecluster. In addition, it is a comprehensive support from component warehousing to daily operation logistics. <\/p>\n\n

The Nordseecluster<\/strong>, located 50 kilometers off the German island of Juist, will achieve a total capacity of up to 1.6 gigawatts. This will make it possible to generate clean energy to supply around 1,600,000 households. Furthermore, it will be implemented in two phases: the first <\/strong>(Nordseecluster A<\/em>) will come on line in 2027 and the second <\/strong>(Nordseecluster B<\/em>) will start commercial operations in 2029. <\/p>\n\n

This project is led by RWE <\/strong>(51%<\/em>) together with Norges Bank Investment Management<\/strong> (49%). In principle, RWE assumes full responsibility for construction and operation. <\/p>\n\n
