Douglas Marshall, Vice President of the International Committee for Non-Destructive Testing (ICNDT), gave an insider’s view of the industry’s trajectory and future during an interview with the Inspenet team at the 8th Pan American NDT Conference (PANNDT 2025).PANNDT 2025<\/a><\/strong>), held in Canada.<\/p>\n\n

Marshall recalled the origins of the Pan-American entity (founded in 1998 at the initiative of instructor Peter Brady and hosted by Canada) whose objective was to unite non-destructive testing (NDT) professionals from North America, Latin America and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n\n

We went from just 20 exhibitors to more than 100, with between 600 and 800 attendees expected this year.<\/p>\nhe stressed.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n

The influence of AI on NDT<\/h2>\n\n
