Electricity comes exclusively from solar and wind farms, which avoids the consumption of energy based on polluting fuels.

The use of green electricity at Pacheco plant

This switch to clean energy will prevent the emission of approximately 120 thousand tons of CO₂ over the next ten years. To put it in perspective, this is equivalent to disconnecting a city of 100 thousand inhabitants for a full year. The strategy is aligned with the company’s global plan, called Way to Zero, which aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

With 45 years of experience in the country, Volkswagen Argentina strengthens its commitment to ecological mobility and the efficiency of its industrial processes.
