Baker Hughes<\/strong> has been selected by Frontier Infrastructure Holdings to supply 16 NovaLT gas turbines to power data centers in Wyoming and Texas. With a total capacity of up to 270 megawatts, these turbines ensure an efficient and reliable power supply for large-scale data processing operations. <\/p>\n\n

NovaLT turbine technology<\/h2>\n\n

Under the agreement, Baker Hughes will provide not only the turbines, but also essential components such as gears and Brush Power Generation’s four-pole generators. This equipment will power islands in behind-the-meter <\/strong>(BTM<\/em>) generation facilities <\/strong>, a strategy that allows Frontier to operate autonomously from the conventional power grid. <\/p>\n\n

This order builds on a previously established collaboration between Baker Hughes<\/strong> and Frontier <\/strong>in March 2025, which aims to accelerate carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects in the United States. One of the featured developments is the Sweetwater Carbon Storage Center, located in Wyoming. <\/p>\n\n

NovaLT technology<\/strong> stands out for its versatility in fuel use, being compatible with natural gas, hydrogen blends and even operating 100% on hydrogen. This provides Frontier with the flexibility to adapt to an evolving energy complex and meet its sustainability goals. <\/p>\n\n

With a presence in more than 120 countries, Baker Hughes continues to expand its portfolio of clean and modular energy solutions focused on demanding sectors such as data centers.
