This floating unit represents a key step for the West Central Pole Integrated Project, which focuses on the Agogo and Ndungu fields. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Agogo FPSO production potential and schedule<\/h2>\n\n<p>The Agogo FPSO is designed <strong>to<\/strong> <strong>reach a maximum capacity of 175,000 barrels per day<\/strong>. Although operations are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2025, its early arrival demonstrates efficient execution by operator Azule Energy, which has coordinated the project together with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/yinson-production-celebrates-the-christening-and-upcoming-departure-of-the-fpso-agogo\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/yinson-production-y-el-zarpe-del-fpso-agogo\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Yinson Production<\/a><\/strong>which is in charge of operating the unit. <\/p>\n\n<p>One of the distinctive features of this unit is the incorporation of the first pilot post-combustion carbon capture system in an FPSO. Part of its structure was manufactured in Angolan shipyards, reflecting a concrete commitment to local development and capacity transfer. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Logistics and international cooperation<\/h2>\n\n<p>The FPSO began its journey from Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry&#8217;s shipyard in China and made a strategic stop in Namibia.
