WindWings\u00ae incorporates a patented three-element sail design that offers up to 2.5 times more lift than traditional systems<\/strong>. By not requiring continuous power to operate, the system saves an average of 1.5 tons of fuel and 4.7 tons of CO2 per day on international routes. <\/p>\n\n Union Maritime Ltd (UML) is among the first operators to integrate WindWings\u00ae on its BV-rated vessels.
