In addition, it is implemented in collaboration with the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB), which provides a reliable infrastructure to validate transactions and avoid double counting. This backing reinforces the credibility of the mechanism and promotes the growth of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/hydrogen-shipping-maritime-fuel\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/articulo\/hidrogeno-como-combustible-transporte-marino\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sustainable marine fuels<\/a><\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Microsoft continues its sustainability strategy through partnerships that enable an effective reduction of Scope 3 emissions, those indirect emissions generated in its value chain. In the words of Anne Jensen, Norden&#8217;s chief operating officer, the agreement reflects the immediate potential for any company seeking to reduce its impact without waiting for future solutions. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transparency in maritime emissions and certified traceability<\/h2>\n\n<p>The biofuel used by Norden is made from waste and is internationally certified. In recent tests, it <strong>has been shown to reduce emissions by 80% to 90%<\/strong> compared to conventional fossil fuels, making it a realistic option given the limited geographical availability of such solutions. <\/p>\n\n<p>Although this pilot focuses on Microsoft, the Book and Claim model is designed to scale and be adopted by other companies with international operations.
