How the \u201cBook and Claim\u201d approach works<\/h2>\n\n

The initiative is aligned with the Smart Freight Centre framework and is independently audited. Transparency in maritime emissions and certified traceability<\/h2>\n\n

The biofuel used by Norden is made from waste and is internationally certified. In recent tests, it has been shown to reduce emissions by 80% to 90%<\/strong> compared to conventional fossil fuels, making it a realistic option given the limited geographical availability of such solutions. <\/p>\n\n

Although this pilot focuses on Microsoft, the Book and Claim model is designed to scale and be adopted by other companies with international operations. It is designed to mitigate emissions without direct reliance on specific routes or ships, which facilitates adoption in sectors with complex supply chains. <\/p>\n\n
