This model introduces a range of up to 600 kilometers, through <strong>a 780 kWh battery technology<\/strong> that optimizes space and weight distribution, while maintaining the load capacity of a diesel truck. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Volvo&#8217;s electric truck design<\/h2>\n\n<p>The integration of the <strong>E-axle system<\/strong>, an electric drive axle that frees up space for more batteries, has been essential to achieve this improvement. In addition, the truck has a 6 x 2 axle configuration, which <strong>supports up to 48 tons of total weight<\/strong>, allowing it to transport heavy trailers without sacrificing autonomy. <\/p>\n\n<p>This new model is prepared for the <strong>MCS<\/strong><em>(Megawatt Charging System)<\/em> <strong>charging standard<\/strong>, allowing charging from 20% to 80% in just 40 minutes. This feature allows the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/mercedes-benz-electric-vehicles-can-now-be-charged-at-tesla-superchargers\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"226359\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">energy supply and recharging<\/a><\/strong> and recharging can be performed during drivers&#8217; regulatory breaks, facilitating continuous operation without compromising productivity. <\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>FH Aero Electric<\/strong> is part of the strategy of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/volvo-and-its-new-electric-truck\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"186503\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Volvo Trucks<\/a> <\/strong>strategy towards net zero emissions by 2040. Together with other technologies such as hydrogen fuel cell and renewable fuels, this truck represents the company&#8217;s commitment to sustainable transportation and CO\u2082 reduction in the heavy commercial vehicle segment. <\/p>\n\n<p>  Volvo has delivered <strong>more than 5,000 electric trucks<\/strong> in 50 countries since the start of series production in 2019.
