Such collaboration aims to minimize the impact of CO\u2082 emissions through the use of complementary wind power. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The industrial deployment of Ultranav and Beyond the Sea<\/h2>\n\n<p>This project contemplates a progressive implementation of the <em>SeaKite system<\/em>. This year, <strong>a 100 m\u00b2 sail will be installed <\/strong>as an operational test. Then, between 2026 and 2027, it will be scaled up to a fully functional 400 m\u00b2 version.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The <em>SeaKite system<\/em> harnesses the power of the wind with an <strong>automated kite<\/strong> that reduces fuel consumption and contributes to the direct reduction of greenhouse gases. <strong>Ultranav<\/strong>, with a presence in 19 countries and a fleet of more than 420 vessels, adopts solutions that align with its operational and environmental objectives.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>This agreement with Ultranav is an important step in demonstrating the industrial potential of wave traction. We are no longer experimenting: the SeaKite is a ready-to-use solution designed to meet the real needs of shipowners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reducing emissions, cutting fuel consumption, improving the environmental performance of ships: that is what we want to demonstrate with this partnership, by deploying our technology on a reference chemical tanker.<\/p>\n<cite>Yves Parlier, founder of Beyond the Sea.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>This agreement reflects a concrete approach to the regulatory challenges posed by the International Maritime Organization. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/maersk-boosts-maritime-decarbonisation-with-its-new-ap-moller-vessel\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"210663\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Maritime Organization<\/a><\/strong> and anticipates the need for an effective energy transition.
