This milestone is driven by two new contracts: the 22 MW <strong>Weisendorf project<\/strong> and the 14 MW <strong>Bernau Albertshof II.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">High demand for onshore wind turbines in Germany<\/h2>\n\n<p>With these acquisitions, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/vestas-wins-a-151-mw-order-for-wind-farms-in-spain\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"88222\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vestas<\/a> <\/strong>strengthens its leadership in the European wind market, particularly in the range of turbines over 7 MW, where the <strong>V172-7.2 MW<\/strong> and <strong>V162-7.2 MW<\/strong> <strong>models<\/strong> stand out. These variants are part of the <strong>modular EnVentus platform<\/strong>, designed to maximize energy production in low to medium wind zones. <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>We are pleased to celebrate this milestone of 1 GW in order intake for our 7 MW+ wind turbine variants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This shows that these variants have become the preferred choice of our customers, especially in Germany.<\/p>\n<cite>Jens K\u00fcck, Senior Vice President, Onshore Sales, NCE.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Since 2023, Vestas has been field testing <strong>four prototypes of these turbines<\/strong>.
