The main objective of this partnership would be to accelerate the adoption of safe and efficient technologies applied to personal vehicles<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Personal autonomous cars with shared technology<\/h2>\n\n

The alliance considers the key contribution of Woven by Toyota, a unit dedicated to innovation in innovation in mobility<\/a><\/strong> of the Japanese manufacturer. This unit will contribute advanced software and mobility solutions<\/strong>, while Waymo will provide its expertise in autonomous controllers already tested in complex urban environments such as San Francisco and Phoenix. <\/p>\n\n

This collaboration reinforces that objective by combining advances in vehicle intelligence<\/a><\/strong> with operational data generated by Waymo, whose vehicles have demonstrated up to 81% fewer injury crashes<\/strong> versus human reference models. <\/p>\n\n

Waymo<\/a><\/strong> continues to expand its presence with its commercial service Waymo One<\/a><\/strong>commercial service, while it plans to adapt its technology for new partners. With Toyota, it intends to open a new front in private vehicles that could scale globally. The two companies are in talks to define the final scope of the agreement. <\/p>\n\n
