This agreement will advance the development of the 335 megawatt (MW) Mount Storm wind farm located in Grant County, West Virginia. <\/p>\n\n<p>This project represents a breakthrough for the generation of clean energy <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/investments-for-clean-energy-transition\/\" data-type=\"articulo\" data-id=\"190466\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">clean energy<\/a><\/strong> and aligns with Microsoft&#8217;s ambitious decarbonization goals to achieve net-zero operations across its entire value chain. Mount Storm will be a carbon-free source of electricity that will directly contribute to that goal. <\/p>\n\n<p>According to Valerie Wooley, Clearway&#8217;s senior vice president of origination, the collaboration with Microsoft reinforces the company&#8217;s commitment to promoting sustainable sourcing and supporting regional economic growth.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Clean energy from Virginia<\/h2>\n\n<p>The wind farm will be built using equipment manufactured in the United States, which strengthens the domestic industry and guarantees quality standards.
