These facilities, located in Seville, Jaén, and Córdoba, have a combined capacity exceeding 200 MWp.

Energy and technological impact of new solar plants

With capacities of 105 MWp, 73 MWp, and 26 MWp respectively, the solar parks will cover more than 450 hectares in total . They are designed to supply electricity to more than 92,000 homes, significantly contributing to the reduction of over 62,000 tons of CO₂ emissions annually. Q ENERGY acts as the developer and is responsible for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) work, reinforcing its role in the region’s energy transition .

During the installation phase , more than 350,000 solar modules will be deployed on mobile structures with trackers, thus optimizing energy collection performance. This technology increases solar production by adapting the tilt of the panels to the movement of the sun, improving the system’s daily efficiency.

Regional projection and future of the company

In addition to these three parks, the company already has four other solar projects underway in different locations in Andalusia. Eduardo de la Hera, development director of Q ENERGY Iberia, highlighted the solid pipeline of projects in the execution phase and the active preparation of future plants.

This progress positions Andalusia as a strategic area in Spain’s commitment to clean energy. Harnessing its high level of solar radiation, along with the commitment of companies like Q ENERGY, is driving a transformation of the energy system based on decarbonization and sustainability.

Follow us on social media and don’t miss any of our posts!

YouTube LinkedIn Facebook Instagram X (Twitter) TikTok

Source and photo: Q ENERGY

Q ENERGY’s three new solar farms will cover more than 450 hectares and supply energy to more than 92,000 Spanish homes.

[13026,13044

post-248594","noticias","type-noticias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categoria_noticias-energy","categoria_noticias-new-energies
["GET
