The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/simecatlantis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/AR1500-Brochure-Final-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/simecatlantis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/AR1500-Brochure-Final-1.pdf\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AR1500<\/a><\/strong> , in operation since 2017, is a horizontal-axis turbine with full yaw control and variable-pitch blades, capable of generating up to 1.5 MW at flow speeds of three meters per second. <\/p>\n\n<p>This performance reaffirms the relevance of the infrastructure already deployed and highlights the system&#8217;s capacity for continuous evolution.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Series 1 tidal turbine performance still in force<\/h2>\n\n<p>The operational success is attributed to the collaborative work of MeyGen, SAE, and Proteus Marine Renewables, which <strong>has demonstrated that tidal generation is viable on an industrial scale<\/strong> and can also compete in reliability with other <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/renewable-energy-in-energy-security\/\" data-type=\"articulo\" data-id=\"126943\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">renewable technologies<\/a><\/strong> .
