Navantia UK<\/strong> has launched development of McDermott Trinidad<\/strong> ‘s Manatee project<\/strong> by completing the first steel cut at its facility in Arnish, Scotland. This event marks the official start of manufacturing, which occurred ahead of schedule, demonstrating the company’s efficient planning and execution. <\/p>\n\n

The production of critical underwater structures<\/h2>\n\n

This contract has a duration of one year, and focuses on the production of essential subsea components for the Manatee gas field<\/strong> , located in deep waters of Trinidad and Tobago.<\/p>\n\n

The parts manufactured at Arnish<\/strong> will be essential for the project’s energy infrastructure, which is supported by Shell as the field operator.<\/p>\n\n

The Arnish site<\/strong> has been strengthened to become a strategic hub<\/strong> for the manufacturing of complex structures<\/strong> such as manifolds<\/em> and subsea connection modules<\/em> , meeting international standards for the offshore sector.<\/p>\n\n

The award of this contract is creating skilled jobs in the Western Isles of Scotland, strengthening the local supply chain, and reaffirming Navantia UK’s commitment to the region’s industrial development<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n
