This development represents an expansion of treatment capacity to exceed 100,000 m\u00b3 per day (26 MGD), ensuring a continuous and efficient supply of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/lithium-extraction-could-be-accelerated-method\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this critical resource<\/a><\/strong> for the battery and renewable energy industries. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exceptional performance in the lithium extraction project<\/h2>\n\n<p>The success of the <strong>first phase<\/strong> , which involved the implementation of a membrane system with a capacity of 1,900 m\u00b3\/h, was crucial in the decision to continue with PolyCera. Plant operators emphasized the reliability and low maintenance of the membranes compared to conventional solutions, which led to the expansion of the project in this second phase. <\/p>\n\n<p>In this <strong>second phase<\/strong> , PolyCera will deliver a complete membrane solution, including membrane elements, pressure vessels and frames, with delivery expected by the end of June 2025. With an additional capacity of 2,300 m\u00b3\/h ( <em>14.6 MGD)<\/em> , this system will expand the plant\u2019s lithium extraction capacity, an essential element for the <strong>manufacture of electric vehicle batteries<\/strong> and <strong>renewable energy storage<\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>PolyCera&#8217;s ceramic membrane technology<\/strong> stands out for its chemical resistance and operational efficiency.
