This research paves the way for a more practical and economical version of <strong>direct air capture<\/strong> ( <em>DAC<\/em> ). <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Carbon capture through humidity fluctuations<\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong>humidity oscillation<\/strong> approach relies on relative humidity levels to absorb and release CO\u2082, allowing the process to occur without the need for additional <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/technology-harnessing-geothermal-energy\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"112059\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">thermal energy<\/a><\/strong> . This method, according to the authors, is especially useful in regions where humidity naturally fluctuates between day and night, and could be applied in sectors such as aviation or agriculture, where emissions are more difficult to manage. <\/p>\n\n<p>This scientific study identified alternatives for implementation, such as <strong>activated carbon<\/strong> , <strong>nanostructured graphite<\/strong> , <strong>iron and aluminum oxides<\/strong> , and <strong>flake graphite<\/strong> .
