This project focuses on efficiency and sustainability, using advanced technology to convert forest residues and biomass into renewable fuels, contributing to the decarbonization of the aeronautical sector. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The biomass conversion project into SAF<\/h2>\n\n<p>The initiative, dubbed <strong>BioTJet<\/strong> , aims to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/jal-and-airbus-develop-saf-using-japanese-wood-to-reduce-carbon-emissions\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"239224\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">produce SAF<\/a><\/strong> from wood residues and other biogenic waste. This development responds to the demand for sustainable aviation fuels and remains aligned with the European Union&#8217;s objectives, which <strong>set a 70% SAF quota<\/strong> by 2050. To achieve this, Thyssenkrupp Uhde&#8217;s <strong>PRENFLO gasification<\/strong> technology converts biomass into valuable synthesis gas, an essential element for the creation of these biofuels.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>BioTfueL technology<\/strong> , which will be applied in this project, integrates biomass gasification with the addition of green hydrogen to produce renewable fuel. This approach is a clear example of how technological innovation can contribute to the transition to cleaner energy sources. In this context, the E-BioTfueL concept, which uses biomass suitable for <strong>producing advanced biofuels<\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/petrobras-signs-preliminary-agreement-with-european-energy-for-e-methanol-production-in-brazil\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"210149\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">e-fuels<\/a><\/strong> , is emerging as a comprehensive solution for the production of sustainable fuels for both the aviation and ground transportation sectors.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The success of this project depends on the collaboration between several actors, including <strong>Axens<\/strong> and <strong>Elyse Energy<\/strong> . For example, <em>Axens<\/em> , a company specializing in solutions for converting biomass into cleaner fuels, and <em>Elyse Energy<\/em> , an innovative French SME dedicated to the production of low-carbon molecules, have worked together to implement the necessary technologies.
