The TP1000, an innovative cargo drone developed by China’s Yitong UAV System Co.<\/strong> , has successfully completed its maiden flight in Qingdao, Shandong Province. This large-capacity UAV ( unmanned aerial vehicle<\/a><\/strong> ) is the first of its kind in China, with a payload of up to 1,000 kilograms and an operational range of 1,000 kilometers. <\/p>\n\n

The TP1000 has been developed to meet Civil Aviation Administration of China<\/a><\/strong> (CAAC) standards, enabling it to achieve key certifications ahead of its commercial launch in 2026.<\/strong> Compared with its predecessor, the TP500, this new model offers extended range and greater cargo<\/a><\/strong> efficiency. <\/p>\n\n

One of the TP1000’s highlights is its intelligent airdrop functionality, making it ideal for disaster relief missions<\/a><\/strong> and rapid supply deliveries to hard-to-reach areas. It also features a spacious cargo hold and a design optimized for integration with other logistics systems. <\/p>\n\n
