This project, in collaboration with ADM Naviera Chaco, a leading river transport operator in South America, aims to modernize the vessels<\/a><\/strong> and significantly contribute to reducing carbon emissions, aligning with the region’s sustainability goals. <\/p>\n\n

The ADM Naviera Chaco-owned tugs Decatur Lady and Tendota will each receive three W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 20 engines<\/strong> . These compact and efficient engines have been selected for their ability to operate on a variety of fuels, offering crucial flexibility in the transition to cleaner energy sources. <\/p>\n\n

ADM Naviera Chaco aims to reduce its emissions by 25% by 2035<\/strong> , a significant challenge for the South American maritime industry<\/a><\/strong> .
