The project, led by NKT, aims to connect the <strong>Yggdrasil offshore oil and gas field<\/strong> to the Norwegian coast, ensuring a sustainable, low-emission energy supply. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">HVAC cable distribution and installation<\/h2>\n\n<p>The cable-laying vessel <strong>NKT Victoria<\/strong> successfully completed the first installation campaign in the Norwegian fjords and the North Sea, a crucial step in the development of this important project.<\/p>\n\n<p>This <strong>145 kV<\/strong> <strong>cable<\/strong> will provide a stable electrical connection between offshore platforms and onshore infrastructure, contributing to the region&#8217;s energy supply. Once completed, this system is expected to be one of the solutions for reducing emissions in the energy industry. <\/p>\n\n<p>The installation&#8217;s progress is the result of close collaboration between <strong>Equinor<\/strong> , which participated in the design and production of the cables, and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/aker-bp-asa-adjudico-contratos-feed-para-proyectos-offshore\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"13736\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aker BP<\/a><\/strong> , the main operator of the <strong>Yggdrasil<\/strong> development on the Norwegian continental shelf.
