The shipping industry is moving toward electrification with the first on-water test of the REGENT seaglider<\/strong> . The Rhode Island-based company unveiled its Viceroy prototype, an all-electric ground-effect craft<\/a><\/strong> designed to transport passengers at high speed between coastal destinations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 12-passenger Viceroy began testing in Narragansett Bay, where REGENT engineers verified its stability and electric propulsion systems<\/a><\/strong> .
