This collaborative agreement seeks to create a new generation of low-cost, zero-emission nuclear power plants. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An alliance between Rolls-Royce SMR and Siemens Energy<\/h2>\n\n<p>The agreement means that <strong>Siemens Energy<\/strong><em> <\/em>provide steam turbine technologies for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/rolls-royce-to-develop-modular-nuclear-reactors-to-create-green-energy\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"87159\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SMR plants<\/a><\/strong> , a key component in nuclear electricity generation. The company&#8217;s expertise will enable improved infrastructure and manufacturing in the UK. This partnership aims to strengthen the nuclear energy market, minimising risks and accelerating the deployment of SMR technology.  <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>This alliance will open up UK jobs and a range of manufacturing opportunities and further consolidate our position as Europe\u2019s SMR technology leader.
