This project includes 6.5 MW of solar PV generation and a 2.75 MW battery system, which is already connected to the local electricity grid. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solar project key to achieving zero emissions<\/h2>\n\n<p>With this development, <strong>GWMWater will be able to offset 70% of its electricity consumption in 330 facilities<\/strong> , moving closer to its goal of operating with 100% renewable energy by 2025 and achieving net zero emissions by 2035.<\/p>\n\n<p>According to representatives of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vemotion.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vibe Energy<\/a><\/strong> , the energization of the high voltage asset marks the beginning of the commissioning phase of the plant, consolidating its role in the transition towards more sustainable energy sources.<\/p>\n\n<p>The project optimizes energy supply, reduces dependence on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/alternative-energy-fossil-fuels\/\" data-type=\"articulo\" data-id=\"109972\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fossil fuels<\/a><\/strong> and minimizes the carbon footprint in the region.
