The first bunkering of liquefied biogas for the tug Borg\u00f8y was successfully completed on 14 February in the port of K\u00e5rst\u00f8, Norway. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gasum supplies liquefied biogas to Equinor<\/h2>\n\n<p>Bio-LNG, a fully renewable fuel, is playing a crucial role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the maritime sector, which are on average 90% lower than those of traditional fossil fuels. This supply is part of Equinor\u2019s efforts to achieve its goal of <strong>becoming a carbon-neutral energy company by 2050<\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n<p>This agreement follows Gasum\u2019s 2024 supply of bio-LNG to the Island Crusader, a platform supply vessel used by Equinor.
