With this financial boost, STAX Engineering is now closer to its goal of capturing 1% of global greenhouse gas emissions<\/strong> . The company has already demonstrated the potential of its technology by conducting successful trials at the Port of Los Angeles, where its carbon dioxide capture system has shown promising results. <\/p>\n\n

Once the exhaust gases are filtered by STAX\u2019s technology, the pollutants are sent through Seabound\u2019s carbon capture unit, where both CO2<\/sub> and sulfur are isolated and stored. This collaboration is setting a new standard for decarbonizing<\/a><\/strong> the maritime industry, which has historically been one of the most difficult sectors to decarbonize. <\/p>\n\n
