Designed to operate continuously and reliably, Stellaris represents a breakthrough in the development of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/investments-for-clean-energy-transition\/\" data-type=\"articulo\" data-id=\"190466\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">clean and safe energy<\/a><\/strong> , based on quasi-isodynamic (QI) stellarizer technology. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An integrated commercial fusion plant concept<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Stellaris<\/strong> \u2019 design is based on the advances made with the Wendelstein 7-X (W7-X) experiment in Germany, the most advanced QI stellarator to date. In addition, the Proxima Fusion engineering team includes experts from companies such as Google, Tesla, McLaren and SpaceX, accelerating the application of advanced technologies in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/new-zealand-first-fusion-reactor\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"200512\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fusion reactor<\/a><\/strong> design. <\/p>\n\n<p>Details of the Stelaris concept were published in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0920379625000705?via%3Dihub\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fusion Engineering and Design<\/a><\/strong> magazine.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Goal: Unlimited and secure energy in the next decade<\/h2>\n\n<p>Proxima Fusion plans to build a demonstration reactor, Alpha, by 2031, with the goal of delivering fusion power to the grid in the 2030s. This development represents a decisive step toward commercializing nuclear fusion as a viable source of clean and safe energy. <\/p>\n\n<p>The Stellaris concept has already been validated through electromagnetic, structural, thermal and neutron simulations, ensuring that it meets key physical and engineering constraints.
