The operation is valued at approximately 1 billion euros and has received all the necessary regulatory authorizations. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hydroelectric generation and its energy potential<\/h2>\n\n<p>The agreement includes the transfer of <strong>34 hydroelectric plants<\/strong> located in Aragon, Soria, Valencia and Navarre. These facilities have an average concession life of 30 years and are divided into three types of plants: <strong>reservoir source<\/strong> ( <em>56%<\/em> ), <strong>flow<\/strong> (30%) and <strong>pumping<\/strong> (14%). Together, these infrastructures generate an estimated annual production of 1.3 TWh.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The divestment is part of <em>ACCIONA Energ\u00eda<\/em> &#8216;s asset rotation strategy, which seeks to strengthen its renewable energy portfolio with a more flexible and profitable approach. The Spanish company has highlighted the strength of its <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/video-tv\/sens-minas-en-almacenamiento-hidroelectrico\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"video-tv\" data-id=\"150770\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hydroelectric capacities<\/a><\/strong> and the importance of this transaction in its growth plan. <\/p>\n\n<p>For <strong>Endesa<\/strong> , the acquisition represents a step in its expansion into the renewable energy sector.
