This new technique significantly reduces production costs, one of the main barriers in the development of thermoelectric devices. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Innovation in the manufacture of thermoelectric refrigerators<\/h2>\n\n<p>Thermoelectric coolers, devices capable of generating localized cooling by transferring heat through an electric current, are widely used in modern electronics. Traditionally, manufacturing these devices has been expensive and generates large amounts of waste.   <\/p>\n\n<p>However, the new <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/create-functional-robotic-hand-3d-printing\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"108870\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">3D printing<\/a><\/strong> technique developed by ISTA researchers makes it possible to create these materials without intensive machining processes, which avoids high energy consumption and the generation of waste.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cost reduction and increased performance<\/h2>\n\n<p>Thanks to the innovative formulation of inks used in 3D printing, researchers have achieved performance comparable to applications of these devices to areas such as wearable electronics, medicine and waste energy harvesting.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Applications and future of thermoelectric materials<\/h2>\n\n<p>In addition to their use in coolers for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/handling-of-signals-electronic-devices\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"93984\">electronic devices<\/a><\/strong> , <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.science.org\/doi\/10.1126\/science.ads0426\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\"
