Petrobras\u2019 B\u00fazios field marks a new record in oil production on February 24.<\/strong> B\u00fazios, located in the Santos Basin, reached a historic production of 800 thousand barrels of oil per day. This achievement was made possible thanks to the recent addition of the FPSO Almirante Tamandar\u00e9<\/a><\/strong> , the largest floating production, storage and offloading unit in Brazil. <\/p>\n\n

The record oil production in B\u00fazios<\/h2>\n\n

B\u00fazios, a constantly expanding field that began operations in 2018, has established itself as one of the most productive fields in the Brazilian oil industry<\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n

This field, located at a depth of more than 2,000 metres on the seabed, has recorded several production records<\/a><\/strong> throughout its development, with a notable improvement in efficiency thanks to the implementation of new technologies.<\/p>\n\n

The impact of the Almirante Tamandar\u00e9 FPSO <\/h2>\n\n

With the arrival of this gigantic platform, the production potential of B\u00fazios<\/a><\/strong> has taken a significant leap. This FPSO has the capacity to process 225 thousand barrels of oil<\/strong> and 12 million cubic meters of gas per day. <\/p>\n\n

Petrobras’ expectations are high, with the field projected to reach one million barrels per day in the coming months<\/strong> , with an ambitious target of reaching 1.5 million barrels by 2030.<\/p>\n\n
