According to Toyota, <strong>this new version improves the vehicles&#8217; autonomy by 20%<\/strong> compared to the previous generation, while significantly reducing manufacturing costs. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Main Features<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Improved durability, up to 2 times that of the previous generation, achieving durability comparable to diesel engines and a maintenance-free design.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved fuel efficiency, 1.2 times higher than the previous generation, allowing for a 20% greater cruising range.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Significant cost reduction through innovations in cell design and manufacturing processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In addition, the company has worked on a more compact and adaptable design, which facilitates its integration into a wide range of heavy commercial vehicles and stationary generators.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fuel cell system in key markets<\/h2>\n\n<p>Toyota is looking to expand the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/hydrogen-green-green-technology\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/articulo\/hidrogeno-verde-tecnologia-verde\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">use of hydrogen<\/a><\/strong> beyond passenger cars. Its third-generation system is aimed at long-haul trucks, railways, ships and even stationary energy infrastructure.
