This \u20ac35 million project, financed by BBVA, is a clear commitment to the energy transition and the generation of clean energy.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The collaboration between Zelestra and Shell Energy<\/h2>\n\n<p>The solar PV plant has the capacity to supply 105 GWh of renewable energy to Shell Energy over the next 10 years. This amount of electricity could supply more than 23,000 homes in Spain annually. <\/p>\n\n<p>The opening ceremony was attended by several political and corporate leaders, including the President of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Fernando L\u00f3pez Miras, who highlighted that the region has become a favourable environment for the implementation of energy projects thanks to a regulatory framework that facilitates their development.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Zelestra<\/strong> has a renewable energy project portfolio of over 28 GW. Committed to the clean energy transition, Zelestra will supply Shell with over 100 GWh of green energy per year, reaffirming its leadership in the renewable energy sector. The company is also expanding its <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/zelestra-two-solar-power-plants-in-spain\/\">presence in Spain<\/a><\/strong> , where it already operates several solar plants.  <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>In 2024, Shell supplied its customers with more than 300 TWh of electricity from its own assets or through third parties, a volume greater than Spain&#8217;s total consumption in one year. In Spain, in addition to strengthening our final sales of electricity and gas to large industrial consumers, we continue to increase our position as one of the main off-takers in the country, having made 3GW of new renewable capacity viable.
