This initiative strengthens the country\u2019s quantum ecosystem and opens up new possibilities for the integration of high-performance computing (HPC) with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/xanadu-launches-aurora-the-worlds-first-modular-networked-quantum-computer\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"223971\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cutting-edge quantum technologies<\/a><\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What makes the Reimei quantum computer special?<\/h2>\n\n<p>The Reimei quantum system is based on a trapped ion qubit architecture, a technology that offers unprecedented stability and precision compared to other approaches. This feature, together with full connectivity between qubits and its integration with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fujitsu.com\/global\/about\/resources\/publications\/technicalreview\/2020-03\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.fujitsu.com\/global\/about\/resources\/publications\/technicalreview\/2020-03\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RIKEN\u2019s Fugaku supercomputer<\/a><\/strong> , makes it a pillar for the advancement of hybrid <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/ypf-in-alliance-with-microsoft-will-explore-the-use-of-quantum-computing-technologies\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"40965\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">quantum computing<\/a><\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n<p>The implementation of Reimei will enable complex problems to be tackled <strong>in areas such as physics, chemistry and artificial intelligence.<\/strong> Its ability to run advanced quantum algorithms in combination with traditional supercomputing represents a qualitative leap in solving problems that until now were intractable with conventional systems.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A key step in Quantinuum&#8217;s global strategy<\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/update\/urn:li:activity:7295217017513517056\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/update\/urn:li:activity:7295217017513517056\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">collaboration with RIKEN<\/a><\/strong> represents Quantinuum\u2019s first on-site deployment of a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/willow-googles-new-quantum-chip-that-outperforms-supercomputers\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"213943\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">quantum system<\/a><\/strong> outside the United States.
