Baker Hughes\u2019 new electric subsea system<\/a><\/strong> is the first of its kind in the industry. Designed for both deep and shallow water developments, this modular system allows for the conversion of existing technologies to 100% electric operation<\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n

This system is intended to improve the efficiency of marine operations<\/a><\/strong> , particularly in carbon capture, storage and utilization projects, and in long-range installations. Key technologies for land and marine electrification <\/h2>\n\n

On land, Baker Hughes has introduced the Hummingbird electric cementing unit<\/a><\/strong> , a solution that replaces diesel engines with a combination of grid power and batteries. This innovative system reduces emissions and noise, while improving operational reliability. <\/p>\n\n

Thanks to its electric design, Hummingbird allows operators to reduce costs and improve the consistency of cementing operations in a variety of field conditions.<\/p>\n\n

Additionally, SureCONTROL Plus<\/a><\/strong> interval control valves (ICVs), designed for remote operation, are transforming zonal control in subsea and dry wells<\/a><\/strong> . By replacing numerous hydraulic lines with a single electrical line, SureCONTROL Plus improves operational efficiency and reduces the need for costly interventions. <\/p>\n\n
