With this funding, the company will build a 10 MW green hydrogen production plant in Vaggeryd, J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping County, Sweden. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The hydrogen plant in Sweden<\/h2>\n\n<p>The facility will be strategically located between Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malm\u00f6, and the plant will supply service stations and industrial sectors in the region. This will enable the <strong>production of up to 4.4 tonnes of green hydrogen per day<\/strong> , strengthening the infrastructure for sustainable transport and decarbonised industry. <\/p>\n\n<p>The grant will cover approximately 35% of the project costs, which include development, design, equipment procurement and construction. Production is expected to start in 2027, contributing to reducing emissions and strengthening Sweden&#8217;s energy security. <\/p>\n\n<p>The company has consolidated its presence in the renewable hydrogen sector with projects in 12 European countries. Its first plant in Bouin, France, has been operating since 2021 and has served as a model for new installations in France, Germany and other European markets. <\/p>\n\n<p>This is <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/lhyfe-delivery-hydrogen-green-a-geomethane\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"165368\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lhyfe<\/a><\/strong> \u2019s second project in Sweden supported by Klimatklivet, following the approval of funding for a similar plant in Trelleborg in 2024. With both facilities, the company aims to establish a robust green hydrogen supply network in the region. <\/p>\n\n<p>The hydrogen produced at Vaggeryd will supply heavy-duty transport, and will be integrated into industrial processes and district heating networks. This multi-functional approach makes it possible to maximise the environmental and economic benefits of hydrogen technology. <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>We are delighted to have received this investment support, which marks our second project in Sweden to be supported by Klimatklivet.
