These trials ensured its success in extreme conditions and established a technological foundation for supersonic passenger travel. <\/p>\n\n<p>Key innovations include supersonic air intakes and digitally optimized aerodynamics, which ensure efficient performance in all phases of flight.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Has the era of supersonic commercial flights arrived?<\/h2>\n\n<p>With the success of the XB-1, Boom Supersonic is turning its attention to the development of the <strong>Overture<\/strong> , scheduled for first flight in 2026. The company will continue wind tunnel testing and digital simulations while finalizing the design of its <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/sustainable-fuel-plant-for-airplane\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"143317\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fuel-<\/a><\/strong> optimized Symphony engine.
