The DUS V5750 unmanned surface system (USV)<\/a><\/strong> developed by DEMCON Unmanned Systems has set a precedent in the Netherlands by obtaining<\/strong> DNV type approval<\/a><\/strong> under the international DNV Standard Craft (DNV-ST-0342). This recognition places DEMCON as the first USV manufacturer in the country to comply with this demanding certification. <\/p>\n\n

USV Certification Process by DNV<\/h2>\n\n

The certification process presented significant challenges, as it required redundancy in all critical systems, including the power supply, within a compact design of just seven metres. This achievement underlines DEMCON\u2019s commitment to delivering safe, reliable and sustainable solutions for the maritime sector. <\/p>\n\n

With this certification, the DUS V5750 USV<\/a><\/strong> is ready to enter series production, marking a significant step forward in the commercialisation of unmanned vessels.
