This achievement adds to the success of the <strong>Wellhead Pressure Management Project<\/strong> ( <em>WPMP<\/em> ), aimed at optimizing field performance through the reinjection of sour gas and technological improvements in processing plants. <\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>Tengiz oil field,<\/strong> classified as a supergiant field, accounts for approximately 1% of global crude oil production. It is also an important element in the company&#8217;s strategy to expand its global operations. Mark Nelson, Chevron&#8217;s vice president, stressed that this development reinforces the company&#8217;s commitment to generating value for its shareholders and the local economy.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In a strategic alliance, the project is led by <strong>Tengizchevroil LLP<\/strong> , a partnership formed by <strong>Chevron<\/strong> ( <em>50%<\/em> ), <strong>ExxonMobil<\/strong> ( <em>25%<\/em> ), <strong>KazMunayGas<\/strong> ( <em>20%<\/em> ) and <strong>Lukoil<\/strong> ( <em>5%<\/em> ). This cooperation has led to improvements in sour gas management, an advanced control center and high-efficiency turbine generators. <\/p>\n\n<p>According to Clay Neff, President of <strong>Chevron International Exploration &amp; Production<\/strong> , this project reflects the strong collaboration between the company, Kazakhstan and the local workforce, generating an economic impact for the country.
