The agreement aims to develop a standard design for a 10 MW green hydrogen production plant, marking a milestone in the deployment of clean technologies in the UK. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FEED Contract Drives Standard Design with NEPTUNE V<\/h2>\n\n<p>The project will be based on the modular configuration of two <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/itm-power.com\/products\/neptune-5\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/itm-power.com\/products\/neptune-5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NEPTUNE V<\/a><\/strong> containerised electrolysis systems of 5 MW each. These systems employ ITM\u2019s proton exchange membrane (PEM) technology, recognised for its efficiency and reliability in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/rwe-receives-approval-for-construction-of-green-hydrogen-plant-in-wales\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"216646\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">production of renewable hydrogen<\/a><\/strong> . The standard design will allow the client company to deploy the plant at multiple locations in the UK.  <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>This agreement with another large-scale European energy company cements NEPTUNE V as the clear leader in its class. The 10MW configuration will enable our client to rapidly deploy projects across the UK. <\/p>\n<cite>Said Dennis Schulz, CEO of ITM Power.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ambitious goals for 2030<\/h2>\n\n<p>The UK <strong>is seeking to achieve 6GW of green hydrogen installed capacity by 2030<\/strong> , in line with its climate strategy. Hydrogen Allocation Rounds (HAR) support these efforts, with initiatives such as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eversheds-sutherland.com\/es\/global\/insights\/the-launch-of-har-2\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.eversheds-sutherland.com\/es\/global\/insights\/the-launch-of-har-2\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HAR2<\/a><\/strong> , which seeks to fund up to 875MW of capacity. <\/p>\n\n<p>The proposed standard design reduces implementation costs and accelerates project start-up. The modular configuration allows capacity to be scaled according to customer needs and site-specific conditions.
