This innovative project, with a capacity of 150 MW\/300 MWh, is the first of its kind in Uzbekistan and is already positioned as the largest in all of Central Asia. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key contribution to energy transition in Uzbekistan<\/h2>\n\n<p>The launch of the Lochin project is in line with Uzbekistan\u2019s ambitious energy goals. In 2024, the country raised its renewable energy target, seeking to achieve 40% clean energy in its electricity mix by 2030. This step forward seeks to strengthen the local electricity grid, reduce the intermittency of renewable energy and increase security of supply.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Sungrow\u2019s <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/us.sungrowpower.com\/productDetail\/2635\/energy-storage-systems-powertitan-20-st5015ux-2h-us-st5015ux-4h-us\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/us.sungrowpower.com\/productDetail\/2635\/energy-storage-systems-powertitan-20-st5015ux-2h-us-st5015ux-4h-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PowerTitan 2.0<\/a><\/strong> system, integrated into the project, includes advanced grid-forming technology, ensuring stable operation through services such as voltage regulation, frequency response and oscillation damping.
