These agreements will allow the company to purchase 100,000 tons of this biodegradable material from each company by 2030, making them the largest environmental contracts to date. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Biochar as an environmental measure by Google<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Biochar<\/strong> is a material created from biomass that helps improve soil quality while also capturing and storing carbon dioxide permanently. With these partnerships, Google is adding this technology to its growing portfolio of climate solutions, which includes methods such as enhanced rock weathering and direct air capture. <\/p>\n\n<p>These agreements will contribute to the elimination of 200,000 tons of carbon dioxide, reinforcing Google&#8217;s commitment to net-zero emissions and fostering the <strong>scalability of biochar<\/strong> to address global climate change. <\/p>\n\n<p>Other initiatives such as <strong>Frontier<\/strong> and <strong>Symbiosis<\/strong> are also supported by the big tech company. These projects are designed to accelerate the development of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/video-tv\/alianza-google-y-elawan\/\" data-type=\"video-tv\" data-id=\"191834\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">carbon capture<\/a><\/strong> technologies.
