It also allows it to perform actions such as dancing , running and crouching fluidly and without losing balance, even when faced with dynamic situations.

To train the robot, developers used virtual simulations and a teacher-student model. This allows it to learn digitally and then transfer its skills to the real world, where it adapts them using advanced calculations and motion sensors.

The ExBody2 robot represents a technical breakthrough for practical applications in areas such as medical rehabilitation, education and entertainment. For example, in physiotherapy, the robotic platform could accurately guide patients through personalized exercises, while in the educational sector, it would be a valuable resource for teaching anatomy or body mechanics.

Testing of the robot that professionally imitates human movements. Source: Xuxin Cheng

In entertainment, it opens up new possibilities, from theatre performances to interactive events, taking advantage of the impressive capabilities to interact naturally with the public. The development of ExBody2 promotes a great improvement in human-robot interaction. Its ability to imitate human expressiveness facilitates more intuitive communication, creates more realistic and subtle movement patterns, which could change the public perception of robotics.

Follow us on social media and don’t miss any of our posts!

YouTube LinkedIn Facebook Instagram X TikTok

Source and photos: Github /arXiv: ExBody2: Advanced Expressive Humanoid Whole-Body Control

The ability to imitate human expressiveness facilitates more intuitive and realistic communication.

[13030,13058

post-221581","noticias","type-noticias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categoria_noticias-industry","categoria_noticias-robotics
["GET
