Blue Origin announced the delay of the inaugural launch of its New Glenn rocket<\/strong> . It is now scheduled for January 12 from Launch Complex 36 in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The event, which marks a milestone in Blue Origin\u2019s NG-1 mission<\/a><\/strong> , will be the first step toward National Security Space Launch certification. <\/p>\n\n

New timeline for NG-1 mission<\/h2>\n\n

The launch, originally scheduled for January 10, was delayed due to sea conditions in the Atlantic, where the rocket<\/a><\/strong> is expected to land after its flight. Despite the postponement, the three-hour launch window remains the same and will begin at 1:00 a.m. EST (06:00 UTC). <\/p>\n\n

New Glenn<\/strong> \u2019s maiden flight<\/strong> will include the deployment of the Blue Ring Pathfinder system, a payload designed to test critical capabilities both on the ground and in flight. This project, part of the collaboration with the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), is part of a broader strategy to improve orbital logistics and increase Blue Origin\u2019s operational capabilities. <\/p>\n\n
